Buildings as an Extension of the Urban Landscape
City Park emerged at the junction of two contrasting worlds: the dynamic business district of Moscow City and the green expanse of Krasnaya Presnya Park. The residential complex was designed so that nature and architecture do not compete, but coexist in harmony.
In a densely built-up area with rich infrastructure, the architects needed a particularly sensitive approach: the goal was not to overload the space, but to reveal its potential. The buildings are arranged as a natural continuation of the urban landscape: volumes of varying heights form a cascading composition, adapting to the terrain and light, while quiet inner gardens are nestled between them. Instead of enclosed courtyards, the complex offers open green spaces and façades that gather daylight and reflect the sky.
The architecture is unmistakably “Moscow”: respectful of the street scale, of the neighboring buildings, and of the human experience. City Park does not break away from its context — it enriches it.
